MegaSport and Azulmarino renew their sponsorship agreement for this season, coinciding with the team’s debut in Primera División of women’s basketball.

This season, the Azulmarino project faces a new challenge and, for another year, will have MegaSport as part of its preparation. The team has trained since its early days at MegaSport’s facilities, where the squad has spaces and equipment for training, physical preparation and injury recovery.
The renewal of the agreement was presented yesterday at MegaSport’s own facilities, in a meeting that brought together representatives from both organisations.
During the event, Miguel Pérez-Marsá Roca, general director of Grupo Cursach, highlighted MegaSport’s commitment to sport and to the team:
«We are putting MegaSport’s facilities at their disposal, a venue suitable for all kinds of public, both amateur and professional, and we want to show our support and affection for the team».
For his part, Gabriel Subías, CEO of W2M, praised a collaboration that has continued since the project’s beginnings and highlighted the importance of having facilities like MegaSport for the development of a professional team.
Also Salvador Miró, director of MegaSport, also wanted to highlight the importance of this new stage:
«We are delighted to have a professional team at MegaSport, and it is a pride to put our facilities and equipment at Azulmarino’s disposal».
This collaboration reflects MegaSport and Grupo Cursach’s commitment to sport and, especially, to the promotion of women’s sport in Mallorca.
Beyond the sponsorship, MegaSport supports the team in its daily life, putting its resources and facilities at the disposal of a squad that this season faces the challenge of competing in the top category of women’s basketball.
